Alexander Dubovik. Premonition

Stedley Art Foundation and Bouquet Kyiv Stage present an exhibition by Alexander Dubovik, a Ukrainian artist, representative of the generation of neo-avant-garde artists. Works from different years, generally created during the past decades, culminate in the 2022 Phantoms graphic series. This is a special and important series for the artist, because it was actually created to the sound of sirens and the terrible sounds of explosions during these seemingly endless months of war.

Alexander Zhyvotkov. REVELATION

Alexander Zhyvotkov is a prominent Ukrainian artist who burst onto the art scene as part of the Ukrainian New Wave movement in the early- to mid-1990’s.

Alexander Dubovik. THE SIGNS

Stedley Art Foundation presents an exhibition by Alexander Dubovik, Ukrainian sixtier, representative of the generation of neo-avant-garde artists. The project shows different areas of the artist's work: from the first iconic "bouquets" painting created in the 1960s and a series of gouache to unique artbooks in which the artist embodied his boldest ideas. The exhibition will also recreate the atmosphere of the New Apostolic Church in Kyiv, for which the artist designed stained glasses.

Alexander Dubovik. Self-portrait

For more than 5 years Stedley Art Foundation has been researching the artworks of Alexander Dubovik, studying his archives, sketches, notebooks, theoretical works. This allowed a deeper understanding of the author, to see how his work has changed, how philosophy has become more complicated since the harsh sixties. An exhibition in the White Space of the Stedley Art Foundation to coincide with the author's birthday and the publication by the foundation of two books dedicated to the artist's work. The exhibition of one work - 'Self-portrait' 1967 - is designed to stop us in this turbulent world and invites you to spend time in dialogue with one of the most interesting Ukrainian people of the sixties.

Mykola Trokh. Enfant Terrible of Ukrainian Photography

Pinsel, Ołędzki, Zhyvotkov. CATHARSIS

The National Sanctuary Complex "Sophia of Kyiv” Volodymyrska street 24,, Kyiv, Ukraine

This exhibition features the late Baroque sculptures by Johann Georg Pinsel, an artist active in the late 18 th century, and his apprentice Franciszek Ołędzki along with the works by Alexander Zhyvotkov, a modern day Ukrainian artist.

Kostiantyn Zorkin, Sandro Garibashvili. THE HILL

The exhibition of Konstantin Zorkin and Sandro Garibashvili took place at the Residence Open Space when it was in the early phases of the reconstruction.

The theme of shamanism and the magical function of art unites everything that Konstantin Zorkin does: painting, graphics, wooden objects, and land art. This is especially true of his performances, reminiscent of archaic rituals with masks, fire, and strange objects. He works in this field with Sandro Garibashvili, a graduate of the London School of Performance, who owns the idea and title of The Hill. This film-parable, film-ritual combines images, themes, materials, and actions developed by artists over the past 6 years.

Alexander Zhyvotkov. Keep the Roots
