Alexander Dubovik. Bouquet

Alexander Dubovik is one of the key figures in Ukrainian art of the second half of the 20th century. His work is well known to those interested in art. The artist's paintings are kept in museums and private collections around the world. Stedley Art Foundation presents a spesial exhibition dedicated to the most significant symbol artist created - bouquet. It is the symbol of singularuty and the layering space.

Albertinum Tzschirnerplatz 2, Dresden

The Albertinum is dedicating a comprehensive survey exhibition to modern Ukrainian art. It is the first of its kind in Germany and Europe. Paintings, sculptures, photographs, installations, video works, graphic art and archives represent Ukrainian art from the beginning of the 20th century to the present. In the process, some of the exhibited works travel outside the country for the first time and provide insights into Ukraine's eventful history as well as its constant struggle for its own self-image.

The exhibition “Standoff…” includes works created during different periods but mostly during the past several decades. It culminates with the Phantoms series (2022-2023). This signature series is especially dear to the artist – it has started during the first months of the war which at the time seemed to go on forever.
