In 1966, he graduated from the Lviv Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts, specializing in monumental sculpture. His diploma project, a garden and park figure titled *Lily* (1966), was crafted from artificial stone and placed in the pond at Stryi Park in Lviv.
He is the creator of numerous monumental sculptures, chamber sculptures, poems, and graphic works. His work extends into memorial sculpture, with pieces honoring prominent cultural figures at the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv and the Baikove Cemetery in Kyiv.
