On November 16th, at the White Space of the Stedley Art Foundation, the exhibition of Alexander Sukholit dedicated to the presentation of Natalia Sukholit’s poetry collection “When the Wind Returns” took place.
This collection of poems was first published in 1996 with the support of the “Kavzar-Micro” corporation and personally by Yevgen Utkin. Alexander Sukholit created the illustrations for the book, marking some of his initial attempts in the realm of printed graphics.
Today, the book has been released for the second time, enriched with poems that were not included in the first collection but similarly complement the works of Alexander Sukholit.
“There’s no need to search among the lines of my own life. Only fragments of what I live through are reproduced. Everything else comes from the space, the environment. It’s no longer you, but an unknown, semi-powerful force that possesses you,” the author notes in the introduction to the book.
