Anatolii Sumar. Self-Portraits

Anatolii Sumar has gone down in history of Ukrainian art with the bright and original artworks in which the reality of impressions was closely intertwined with abstract imagery. In the memories of all who have knew him Anatolii Sumar remained a man of wide and diverse interests, covering architecture, music, design, etc. He documented his profound knowledge of the history of world art in a unique epistolary form – letters addressed to his granddaughter’s. Before the presentation of Anatolii Sumar’s book ‘Letters about Art the Stedley Art Foundation, together with the curator Valerii Sakharuk, presents the exhibition of artist’s graphic self-portraits.
