Oleksandr Aksinin (1949–1985) was a Ukrainian graphic artist and intellectual whose complex works interweave art, philosophy, and literature. His intricate symbols and bookplates transcend traditional definitions, inviting viewers into intellectual puzzles filled with references to global literature, mythology, and sacred texts.

In the project artist focuses on the emotional relationship of Ukrainians to the land as a kind of constant, one that is now facing destruction. In this project, Kravets captures both the physical death of the land and its spiritual rebirth in the eyes of those who care for it.

The central theme of the exhibition is the exploration of collective trauma during wartime, the proximity of death, and the sense of helplessness that drives one to seek the magical, archaic, and sacred.
